GreenTech Startup Projekt Seeking Live-Work Space!

My name is Muirén Ní Sídach, and I am a self-described Teknoӎāge, Socially Responsible Technologist, Cooperative Entrepreneur, Ecocentric Micro Industrialist, Socially Responsible Technologist for Energy Management, Smart Mobility and Electric Transport.

I am currently seeking a Light Industrial | Work-Live Space for the integration of an all-terrain elektromotive mobile services system, a prototype pursuant to a proof-of-concept demonstration.

This is the inception projekt of the ΛrTintrí Ξlektroӎotive Cooperative community’s overland vehicle development mission Ðracherz Ξӎoto™.

Projekt Ʌistear Ғada or Long Journey is a ‘trial by fire‘ demonstration of a mobile platform that fulfills and extends the transport role of pack-mule trains from an almost bygone era. Traversing poorly maintained roadways, and inhospitable, often narrow backcountry trails, inclusive of stream crossings, and extreme variations in elevation.

Before the long-haul truck drivers plied the modern-day super slabs that criss-cross the North American continent, for centuries there were the Teamsters, the Muleskinners, and the humble but clever Arriero like the iconic and wholly fictional Juan Valdez and his mule Conchita, and is always pictured carrying sacks of harvested Columbian coffee beans.

Note: The term “Muleskinner” means someone who can “Skin”, meaning to outsmart a mule. There continue to be Muleskinners working out of pack stations, mostly throughout the American Southwest, chiefly for wilderness touring. While in Southern Europe, Muleskinners of the Iberian Peninsula, Portugal, and Spain continue the tradition of transporting premium cork out of the remote, ancient Mediterranean oak forest to more accessible routes, where modern transport is available.

The pilot, our modern Muleskinner will ride of proposed cyberphysicalBell Mare“, a Dual-Wheel-Drive, Battery-Electric Adventure-type motorcycle featuring absolute position sensing wheels and other unique attributes such as a proprietary flex-biofuel, ultra-compact, turbo genset range extender.

Haptic technology is also known as Kinaesthetic Communication or 3D Touch, we describe it as “Science You Can Feel”, with its chief intended use that of overcoming the dead control experience common to most electric vehicles.

In this way, we enable an enhanced sense of feedback to rider’s vehicle control inputs through the throttle, clutch, brake, and of course Body-English, as they throw the bike around.

Instead of telling rider’s that no sound is better, we refine the sound as a form of precision sensing cue that aids in maneuvering the motorcycle with both audible psychoacoustics, and sophisticated vibration, a haptic physicality delivered via infrasound driver hard-mounted to the frame.

The infrasonic driver provides the mechanical feedback that generations of riders are accustomed to sensing, guiding, and informing their riding experience in a perceived intuitive way.

Our Ƀellӎare™ motorcycle assists the rider in orchestrating the movement and orientation of packtrain of electric mules or Ξӎule™, a set of hard and wireless connected, self-balancing, semi-autonomous, mono-wheel trailers.
Each Ξӎule™ trailer owns a compact active suspension mounted to either side of the one full-size wheel, between it and metal lattice pack-frame.

The design incorporates load and orientation sensors, a traction motor with absolute positioning similar to a classic stepper motor, combined analog and regenerative braking, GPS asset tracking, active payload identification.

This lattice-work frame also incorporates outrigger landing gear, and an active smart-hitch allowing the train to act in concert, performing centipede navigation of narrow trail bends, accommodating radical surface orientation, and elevation. The removable fender holds the power cell, identification and navigation, and signal lights.

How Centipedes Navigate Through Land and Water

Summary: Centipedes not only walk on land but also swim in the water. Researchers have, for the first time, decoded the flexible motor control mechanism underlying centipede locomotion, their unique ability to walk on land, to swim on water.

For more than six centuries pack mules have transported coffee, maize (corn), cork, wheat, and a myriad of other items. They remain common to this day in the Paisa Region (Antioquia and the Colombian Coffee-Growers Axis) of Colombia.

The Ξӎule™ in addition to trade goods and supplies, their combination of passive and active suspension makes possible the transport of delicate sensing and measurement instruments used in diverse field research expeditions.

While a military use-case would enable special logistics for sustainment and support, providing a full gamut of services including distributing such as medical supplies, food and water, ammunition, and vehicle replacement parts.

Of course, the system can also be pressed into service as an emergency light field ambulance when other modes of transport such as four-wheel-drive vehicles or airborne craft are prohibited from operation by environmental conditions or just the sheer costs to maintaining them. This harkens back the age of the mule, horse, and camel portage of those injured, once commonly known as the Cacolet in the Americas, the Dhoolie, or Kujawah across the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Systems Integration and Preflight Testing Site
This space can be an unfinished site so long as it offers a source of potable cold water and electric service with sufficient amp rating for concurrent operation or charging of multiple hand-tools, machine shop tools, and equipment including lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, saws, sanders, presses, deburring and polishing, etcetera for largely subtractive creation or finishing. Also, stationary and hand-held 3D scanners to enable additive creation using plastics, plastic composite, and metal printing. Be that as it may, this space is to be primarily for the integration of sourced components.

This demonstration is intended as dramatic proof a Fossil Fuel to Battery Electric (with Ɍange eҲtender) Conversion using a Dual-Sport/Adventure Motorcycle as the Bell Mare of a cyberphysical Pack-Mule Train.

  • Spatial dimensions would be approximately 30’ deep and between 35’ to 45’ width or 1,050 to 1,350 sq. ft.
  • Space must be secure enough for unsupervised storage of tools and sensitive testing equipment.
  • The site use would involve frequent late hour and all-nighters. One staff, at most two would be resident camping with sleeping cots, fridge, hot plate, portable cassette toilet.
  • We need electricity and clean water, though not a requirement, a guest toilet would be handy in the early development stage.

Trans Ʌmerica Trail | BEV ɌҲ Demonstrator
A Fossil-Fuel to Electric Drive Vehicle Conversion Project
Primary Goal: To demonstrate a battery-electric drivetrain with integral, ultra-compact, flex-fuelled turbo-genset range extender, with intended commercial-scale production aimed at those professional aftermarket repair and replace service vendors.

These are service shops wishing to adopt a forward-looking stance in the rapidly developing transport electrification market. Both open-source and proprietary based direct drop-in alternatives will be offered for exclusively fossil-fueled internal and external combustion-engined vehicles.

This real-life experience will take place during a continental transit of the Trans Ʌmerica Trail, a back-country camping tour that begins in the coastal waters of the Marin County Headlands of California and arriving at the coastal city of Beaufort, South Carolina, all on less than a tenth of the fuel a regular internal combustion motorcycle would use.

Proposed Itinerary
The TΛT (Trans America Trail)
An approximately 5,000-mile or 8,000 km epic cross-continent route for recreational use, intended to be a way to cross the United States using a minimum of paved roads for dual-sport motorcycle, off-road vehicle, or touring bicycle.

The trail was initially scouted by Sam Correro in 1984, having spent over 12 years in assembling and maintaining a legal cross-continent route that only uses publicly accessible roads and trails.

Launch Site | Marin Headlands of the San Francisco Bay Area
A hilly peninsula at the southernmost end of Marin County, California, United States, located just north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge, which connects the two counties and peninsulas. The entire area is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and is famous for its views of the Bay Area. The center point of the Marin Headlands skyline is the 920-foot Hawk Hill, the lookout point for the largest known flight of diurnal raptors in the Pacific states.

Beaufort is located on Port Royal Island, in the heart of the Sea Islands and South Carolina Low Country. The city is renowned for its scenic location and for maintaining a historic character by preservation of its antebellum architecture.

The city has been featured in the New York Times and named “Best Small Southern Town” by Southern Living, a “Top 25 Small City Arts Destination” by American Style, and a “Top 50 Adventure Town” by National Geographic Adventure.
